A Song of Deliverance

   To my soul He will
give rest. To my weary
heart He will give
peace.
   He is my shield
and protector, He will
see me though all
trials and struggles.
   He has held me fast
in His strong arms, why
should I fear?
   He has protected me
all of my life. He will
continue to protect me
when I am old.
   With God as my help
I need not cry nor fear.
He is Lord of creation
and Lord of my life.
